are many ways you can help pass Clean
Elections
Whatever
your talents and skills, they can be put to good use
in this vital grass-roots effort to take back democracy
from big-money interests. So whether you like talking
to people on the phone, giving parties, planning events,
or are good at raising money, writing, lobbying, or whatever------
your ideas and help are needed and most welcome!

Ways
to Help
- Host
a house party for your friends and neighbors to learn about
Clean Elections from a NYCCE a speaker, who will also show
a Bill Moyers video on how great Clean Elections is working
in Maine and Arizona. To arrange for a party, contact one
of the individuals listed under Getting
Info About Our Group . All you have to do is choose a
date and invite the guests. We do the rest.
- If
you belong to an organization or group such as a book club,
literacy volunteers, Lions Club, Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce,
League of Women Voters, ask them to put on a Clean Elections
program for their members.
- If you are computer savvy,
you can be a great help.
- Write letters to editors.
- Help
table at fairs and other events to educate people about how
Clean Elections works and how it would get us elected officials
who run on ideas, ability, and integrity instead of how much
money they raise from vested interests.
